 Geena is an American actor, writer and producer. She has a net worth that is in excess of $30 million. Geena was one the most popular leading ladies of film in the 1990s and 2000s. Her most famous roles include "Thelma & Louise" and "A League of Their Own" and "The Long Kiss Goodnight". She was born Virginia Elizabeth Davis on January 21, 1956 in Wareham Massachusetts. Her mother Lucille was an educator's assistant and her father William was an engineer. When she was a teenager, she was a pianist and flute player as well as an organist in her Congregationalist church. She attended Wareham High School and was an exchange student in Sweden where she became fluent in the language. Geena Davis received her acting degree from Boston University. She worked as a window model for Ann Taylor, until she was offered a modeling contract with Zoli. The couple, who had already been married at the time were reunited on a professional level with the sci-fi thriller "The Fly" in the year 1986. This was a huge commercial success, which established Davis on the Hollywood acting scene.
